Whales & Wines Private Tour Itinerary
Winter in South Africa is the best time to see Southern Right Whales and it’s always a good time for wine! It just so happens that the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde (“Heaven and Earth”) wine valley is on the way and we’ll certainly pop in for a tasting on our day tour.
Join us for a trip along the Southern Coast to Hermanus, known for Southern Right Whale watching. We begin with a visit to a colony of endangered African Penguins, followed by a stop in the seaside town of Hermanus. Guests have a choice of visiting Hermanus, known for land-based whale watching, or going on a whale watching boat trip (extra cost).
For lunch, we can have fish and trips at the seaside, or head to one of the area wine farms for an amazing eight course tapas & wine pairing. Lunch is for clients’ account. We will happily assist with bookings.
The afternoon is spent sipping away on some world-renowned wines in the Hemel & Aarde (“Heaven and Earth”) Valley.
This trip is seasonal according to whale season, from June to November.
