With no tours on the road, our freelance tour guides have suddenly stopped earning an income. And while we hope for the best, it seems that travel is going to be slow for many months.
So this week, we set up a crowdfunding campaign to help our freelance tour guides. Because they are freelancers, they unfortunately receive no support from the government, at present.
We have received an overwhelming positive response from our Stompers-network of guests, family and friends. We can’t thank you enough and want you to know that you’ve made a real difference with these acts of kindness.
We can’t wait to be on the road again, traveling through the incredible diverse regions of our beautiful country. We miss the open road, and most of all we are gutted that we haven’t seen our guests for over a month!
We are dreaming of adventures to come and we are all missing showing you South Africa! As soon as travel bans are lifted, we’ll be ready to continue Stomping and welcome you to our home!
